Republic and Molson

I've been out these roads before and even taken some of these same pictures before but I enjoyed it once again. Some of the pictures were a little easier to frame since there was less foliage along the road but the snow made it a little tricky too.
I can almost see folks walking around these properties, doing their chores, children playing...

The homestead below is very much my favorite. I enjoyed photographing it last year and enjoyed it again this year. If I had the time I would knock on the door of the nearest home and see if I could get permission to take a closer look. Maybe I will next time I'm in the area.

Japan Earthquake Pictures and Videos

On March 18, 2011 Japan was rocked by an 8.9 magnitute earthquake. Within minutes a Tsunami had completely devastated much of Northeastern Japan. I'm sure we have all seen the videos and photographs of the tragedy. These pictures and these videos are some that have touched me the most. I especially feel for the elderly folks. Japan is a rich and compassionate country and there is no doubt they will do their best to take care of all their citizens.
