After I finished my work in Imnaha I continued out of town until the paved road turned to gravel - about 6 miles. Photographs do not do the Imnaha, Oregon area justice. This is one of the most amazing places that I have had the pleasure of visiting. Click on the pictures to get a better sense of it, but still you'd have to see it to believe it.
I love slides. Grandma and Grandpa say I'm fearless.
I always have fun in the park with Grandma.
Playing in my room before bedtime.
Good morning!!
This is the scary part.
Going for an evening walk.
Watering plants!!
Whassaaat?
It stinks to have allergies.
Aeries came over Friday night for the weekend. She hadn't been here in a couple weeks so we really missed her. She was wonderful on Friday and Saturday, but Sunday she was not feeling good... she'd had a little cough all night, probably due to all the pollen in the air, and so she got tired quickly. So Sunday wasn't the best day but everything turned out ok, especially after a 3-hour afternoon nap.
New phrases this weekend: "It's stuck." "I waked up." "It's sunny out." "Moon! It's nite time."(it was during the day)
Episode 286: This episode clearly shows something I think we've all know for years... Barney the Purple Dinosaur is harmful to children.
Episode 287: In this episode Aeries: 1. Loses track of Scooter 2. Finds Scooter 3. Gets hit by a fly 4. Is frightened by Scooter's sudden appearance 5. Rounds up bathtoys Another exciting episode.
Episode 288: In this episode, in what may be the first time ever captured on film, we see a child eating the crust!
I had an audit in Crescent City, CA on Thursday so I made the drive from Coos Bay to Crescent City and back again. Lucky for me the sun came out and the drive was absolutely beautiful.
OH.... and I saw a guy with eyes tattooed on the back of his head (click on the image to get a better view).
We wanted to see the Sun Bears too, but they weren't out where we could see them. That figures though... I think Sylvia said it best when she said 'Sun Bears think the world revolves around them'.
It's been a very busy summer so far but things will start winding down a little bit starting this weekend and we are excited about that. We had the 'estate' sale at Grandpa H's today and it went really well. The weather couldn't have been nicer, the crowd was good and the people were friendly. It's been a while since I've blogged and I figure it's time to post some Aeries pictures for us all to enjoy (lol).
