Conner and his Mommy and Daddy went to Chelan,Wa last week for some fun-in the-sun. While they were there they stopped in to see Cousins Quinn and Lauren.

Aeries Gets Tickled Again

Aeries Goes to the 42nd Annual Family Reunion

On Saturday morning Mom, Dad, Grandpa, Aeries and I drove over to Bainbridge Island for the 42nd annual family reunion. It's really cool that we have been having a family reunion for 42 years now. I didn't get a lot of pictures since I was busy keeping track of the young'n but I ate a lot of good food, had a couple nice visits, and a chance to see everybody once again. I still can't remember everybody and how they all fit into the family picture but I think I've improved a little bit over the last 40 years.








Afterwards she slept from 6:30 Saturday eve to 9:15 Sunday morning - 14 hrs & 45 minutes - which totally obliterated the old record of around 10 hours.

Homeowners at Last?

This is a big week for us because the septic inspection and the bank assessment take place this week...the final 2 hurdles...and so hopefully our quest for homeownership is wrapping up. We don't expect any surprises and so we're letting ourselves get really excited about it... and Sylvia even brought some boxes home to start packing up our belongings. A lot of things are in our storage unit but we have enough here in the apartment to fill a medium-sized U-haul. It will take a full day to move the stuff that's here. First Monday in August! Ooops, we haven't closed yet so I need to contain my excitement for a few more days!
