A Week in Palm Springs

Nothing but fields and deserts forever.
And then all of a sudden......
palm trees and golf courses forever!
Our room was between the palm tree trunks on the white stucco portion - center of picture, upstairs.

We had a wonderful dinner at the Cliffhouse.

The sunlight was just right as we were leaving and we could see the cables going all the way to the top.
The Kaufmann House
Coolest 7-11 ever.
Second-coolest 7-11 ever.
Awesome architecture everywhere. Even the KFC!
Bob Hope's house is the monstrosity upper left.

We really enjoyed downtown Palm Springs. We stayed all day, and enjoyed the street fair in the evening.
We had a nice lunch at Lulu's.
We found a really cool vintage store and purchased a piece of art.

Our plane to SF was an hour late and when it finally arrived it had 2 flat tires, which took 2 hours for the maintenance 'team' to repair. So... long story short... our flight landed in Seattle at 1:00 a.m. instead of 8:30 p.m. It was a long day.
