Fireworks!

This year's 4th of July was the first time I've tried to photograph fireworks. Using the 'Fireworks' setting on my Powershot I got several nice shots - learned a lot about what to do and not to do. I think I'll keep the shutter open a smidgen longer next time.

I'm trying to get better at seeing the constellations so I've been taking a 'corner' of night sky and then drawing the lines...
