Fungus Amungus

Amanita muscaria, known as fly agaric, is a distinctive mushroom with a bright red, white-spotted cap and white gills, recognized worldwide. This basidiomycete fungus is part of the Amanita genus, notable for its psychoactive properties due to compounds like muscimol. It is often seen in northern forests and is one of the most recognizable fungi, though consuming it can be dangerous and should not be done.
